L-band Patch antenna for Inmarsat reception.

Right-Hand Circular Polarisation

GPS-type preamp with inmarsat band filter specially fitted

to help reject GPS and GSM Signals.

Built in LNA means that this is all you need to receive Std-C is this antenna and a

receiver capable of SSB at 1541Mhz.

The signals below were received on this patch sitting on a paint pot lid

connected to an IC-R20 handheld and SDR-IQ 11th May 09

Runs off 5vdc 5mA fitted with 5m of coax and a BNC plug.

Power inserter required I make these with 12v to 5v

regulator built in and reverse voltage protection - see picture.
